Adol 125mg Suppositories contain Paracetamol (Acetaminophen), a trusted medicine for relieving pain and reducing fever in children under 6 years. This rectal formulation is particularly suitable for children who cannot take oral medication due to vomiting, difficulty swallowing, or dislike of syrups/tablets.

Each pack contains 10 suppositories, ensuring reliable fever and pain relief for your child during common illnesses such as colds, flu, teething, or minor infections.

How to Use Adol 125mg Suppositories

Dosage:

  • Ages 1–3 years: 1 suppository per dose
  • Ages 4–6 years: 2 suppositories per dose
  • May be repeated up to 4 times in 24 hours (leave 4–6 hours between doses).

Administration Instructions:

  • Ensure the child has emptied their bowels before administration.
  • Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water.
  • Position the child comfortably:
  • On their side with knees bent
  • On their back with legs raised (like a diaper change)
  • On their stomach with knees to chest
  • Gently insert the rounded end of the suppository into the anus using your fingertip.
  • Hold the buttocks together for a few seconds to prevent slipping out.

For rectal use only. Do not swallow.

Precautions

  • Do not use if your child is allergic to paracetamol or any of the ingredients.
  • Consult a doctor before use if the child has liver disease or is taking other medications containing paracetamol.
  • Do not exceed the recommended dose.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.

Possible Side Effects

Most children tolerate Adol suppositories well. Rare side effects may include:

  • Mild rectal discomfort or irritation
  • Allergic reactions such as rash, itching, or swelling
  • Liver problems (very rare, usually with overdose)

If any severe or unusual symptoms occur, stop use immediately and seek medical advice.

Can someone collect my order on my behalf?

Yes. For in-store pickups, we can release the order to a third party if:

How long does delivery take?

Orders placed between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM (Monday to Sunday) will be delivered within 3 hours.
Orders outside Nairobi will be delivered in 24 – 48hrs
Orders placed after 6:00 PM will be delivered the next day.
In case of any delays or delivery challenges, we will notify you as soon as possible.
