Apdrop DX eye drops contain Moxifloxacin 0.5 %w/v and Dexamethasone 0.1 % w/v. Apdrops DX Eye Drop is used in the treatment of bacterial infections. Moxifloxacin is an antibiotic which prevents bacterial cells from dividing and repairing, thereby killing the bacteria. This treats your eye infection. Dexamethasone is a steroid which blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the eye red, swollen and itchy.
How to use
This medicine is for external use only.Take it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid or ear. Wipe off extra liquid.
Precautions
Apdrops DX Eye Drop may be unsafe to use during pregnancy and during lactation.Common side effects include are Eye irritation, Eye discomfort.
