Asomex 2.5mg Tablets 30’s – Amlodipine for High Blood Pressure & Angina

Asomex 2.5mg Tablets 30’s contain amlodipine besylate (2.5mg), a calcium channel blocker used in the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure) and angina (chest pain due to reduced blood supply to the heart).

Amlodipine works by relaxing the smooth muscles in blood vessels, allowing them to widen and improve blood flow. This reduces blood pressure, decreases the workload on the heart, and prevents complications such as stroke, heart attack, and kidney damage.

At the 2.5mg strength, Asomex is often prescribed as a starting dose or for elderly patients who require a lower dose to minimize side effects.

How to Use Asomex 2.5mg Tablets 30’s

Adults: 2.5–5mg once daily, as prescribed.
Take with or without food.
Take at the same time every day.

Precautions

Use with caution in patients with liver problems.
May cause dizziness; avoid driving until you know your reaction.
Not recommended during pregnancy unless prescribed.

Orders placed between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM (Monday to Sunday) will be delivered within 3 hours.
Orders outside Nairobi will be delivered in 24 – 48hrs
Orders placed after 6:00 PM will be delivered the next day.
