Asomex LT 2.5/50mg Tablets 60’s combine two antihypertensive medicines: amlodipine (2.5mg), a calcium channel blocker, and losartan potassium (50mg), an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB). This dual-action combination is prescribed for patients with moderate to severe hypertension who require more than one medication to achieve optimal blood pressure control.

  • Amlodipine relaxes the smooth muscles of blood vessels, improving blood flow and lowering resistance.
  • Losartan blocks the action of angiotensin II, a hormone that tightens blood vessels, thereby preventing high blood pressure and protecting the kidneys.

Together, these medicines reduce strain on the heart and significantly lower the risk of stroke, heart attack, kidney disease, and cardiovascular complications.

How to Use Asomex LT 2.5/50mg Tablets 60’s

  • Adults: 1 tablet once daily, with or without food.
  • Take at the same time each day.

Precautions

  • Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
  • Monitor blood pressure, kidney function, and potassium levels regularly.
  • May cause dizziness — avoid driving or heavy machinery until you know how it affects you.

How long does delivery take?

Orders placed between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM (Monday to Sunday) will be delivered within 3 hours.
Orders outside Nairobi will be delivered in 24 – 48hrs
Orders placed after 6:00 PM will be delivered the next day.
In case of any delays or delivery challenges, we will notify you as soon as possible.
