BP-Tel 80 ACT Tablets provide a combination of Telmisartan (80mg) and Amlodipine (5mg). This fixed-dose combination is prescribed for patients with moderate to severe hypertension who require stronger therapy to achieve blood pressure control.

Telmisartan helps block the effects of angiotensin II, leading to vessel relaxation and lower blood pressure, while Amlodipine, a calcium channel blocker, widens blood vessels and improves circulation. Together, they provide superior blood pressure management compared to single-drug therapy.

This medicine not only reduces blood pressure but also helps prevent stroke, heart attack, and kidney damage associated with long-term uncontrolled hypertension.

Each pack contains 30 tablets, typically prescribed as a once-daily dose for convenient use.

How to Use BP-Tel 80 ACT Tablets (30’s)

  • Recommended adult dose: 1 tablet once daily, or as prescribed.
  • Swallow whole with water, with or without food.
  • Maintain a consistent daily schedule.

Precautions

  • Not suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding women.
  • Avoid in patients with severe liver impairment or very low blood pressure.
  • Use with caution in individuals with heart failure, kidney problems, or electrolyte imbalance.
  • Avoid alcohol consumption while taking this medicine.

How long does delivery take?

Orders placed between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM (Monday to Sunday) will be delivered within 3 hours.
Orders outside Nairobi will be delivered in 24 – 48hrs
Orders placed after 6:00 PM will be delivered the next day.
