BP Tel 80mg Tablets contain Telmisartan, an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that is highly effective in the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure) and cardiovascular risk reduction. By blocking the action of angiotensin II, Telmisartan relaxes blood vessels, lowering blood pressure and improving blood flow.

This medicine is widely prescribed for patients with high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes with cardiovascular risks, and kidney disease associated with hypertension. Lowering blood pressure with BP Tel 80mg helps reduce the risk of heart attack, stroke, and kidney damage.

Telmisartan is well-tolerated and suitable for long-term therapy. Each pack contains 30 tablets, typically used as a once-daily regimen.

How to Use BP Tel 80mg Tablets (30’s)

  • Standard adult dose: 80mg once daily, or as advised.
  • Swallow with water, with or without food.
  • Take at the same time each day.

Precautions

  • Not suitable for patients with severe liver disease, pregnancy, or breastfeeding.
  • Use cautiously in patients with kidney impairment or dehydration.
  • Avoid combining with potassium supplements unless prescribed.
  • Inform your doctor about other blood pressure medicines.

How long does delivery take?

Orders placed between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM (Monday to Sunday) will be delivered within 3 hours.
Orders outside Nairobi will be delivered in 24 – 48hrs
Orders placed after 6:00 PM will be delivered the next day.
