Claritek 125mg/5ml Suspension contains clarithromycin, a macrolide antibiotic used to treat a wide range of bacterial infections in children. It is especially effective for upper and lower respiratory tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, otitis media, and Helicobacter pylori-related ulcers. Clarithromycin works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, stopping growth and spread.

This formulation is ideal for pediatric use, offering accurate dosing and a palatable taste. It’s often prescribed when penicillin-based antibiotics are contraindicated.

How to Use Claritek 125mg/5ml Oral Suspension

  • Shake well before use
  • Administer 7.5mg/kg twice daily for 7–10 days
  • Use a calibrated dosing device
  • Store in refrigerator after reconstitution; discard after 14 days

Precautions

  • Avoid in children under 6 months
  • Not for viral infections
  • Use with caution in liver or kidney impairment
  • Consult a doctor if the child is on other medications

How long does delivery take?

Orders placed between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM (Monday to Sunday) will be delivered within 3 hours.
Orders outside Nairobi will be delivered in 24 – 48hrs
Orders placed after 6:00 PM will be delivered the next day.
In case of any delays or delivery challenges, we will notify you as soon as possible.
