Claron 500mg Tablets are formulated with clarithromycin, a macrolide antibiotic effective against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, Mycoplasma, Chlamydia, and H. pylori. It is used to treat sinusitis, bronchitis, tonsillitis, skin infections, and community-acquired pneumonia.
Claron is bacteriostatic but may act bactericidally depending on concentration and pathogen. It’s often used in patients allergic to penicillin and is suitable for adults and children over 12 years.

How to Use Claron 500mg Tablets
- Take 1 tablet twice daily for 7–14 days

Precautions
- Avoid in severe liver or kidney disease
- Not for use with statins, colchicine, or ergot alkaloids
- May interact with heart, epilepsy, and diabetes medications
