How to Use Adol 250Mg Suppositories
Dosage Guidelines:
- Children 6–9 years (20–30 kg): 1 suppository (250 mg)
- Children 10–12 years (30–40 kg): 1–2 suppositories (250–500 mg)
- Repeat every 4–6 hours if needed
- Do not exceed 4 doses in 24 hours
Administration Instructions:
- Make sure the child’s bowels are empty before use.
- Wash hands thoroughly with soap and clean water.
- Position the child comfortably (on their side, back with legs raised, or stomach with knees pulled to chest).
- Gently insert the suppository’s rounded end into the anus using your index finger.
- Hold the buttocks together for a few moments to keep the suppository in place.
For rectal use only – do not swallow.
